As we continue to experience the effects of Covid at Shawnee PARC, we continue to ask for your diligence and discipline in living and promoting safety practices to minimize exposure at Shawnee PARC and in our community. Though Families and Visitors are at liberty to visit loved ones, understand that you visit at your own risk. Please be advised that two Residents have passed potentially due to Covid related complications. As we continue to experience the effects of Covid at Shawnee PARC, we continue to ask for your diligence and discipline in living and promoting safety practices to minimize exposure at Shawnee PARC and in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Families of the Residents that have passed recently. There are currently two Residents who are currently in the hospital with potential Covid complications.

Dear Patients, Residents, Family and Staff:

As we continue to experience the effects of Covid at Shawnee PARC, we continue to ask for your diligence and discipline in living and promoting safety practices to minimize exposure at Shawnee PARC and in our community. On a schedule Covid test round for all Residents who have not tested positive so far, one Resident from Assisted Living tested positive today. The Resident was safely transferred to the Covid Unit for treatment and isolation. No Staff Members tested positive for Covid today. Two Residents graduated from Covid today! There are also several Residents who are slated to graduate tomorrow; we will let you know those numbers once Residents have been cleared by our Clinical Team.

As we continue to experience the effects of Covid at Shawnee PARC, we continue to ask for your diligence and discipline in living and promoting safety practices to minimize exposure at Shawnee PARC and in our community. We are glad to report that we’ve not had to test anyone today due to signs or symptoms of Covid. We’ve not had any new positive tests for Residents, Patients, or Staff! We are also happy to report that seven Residents graduated from Covid today! There are also several Residents who are slated to graduate tomorrow; we will let you know those numbers once Residents have been cleared by our Clinical Team.

As we continue to experience the effects of Covid at Shawnee PARC, we continue to ask for your diligence and discipline in living and promoting safety practices to minimize exposure at Shawnee PARC and in our community. Clinical Leadership performed a scheduled round of testing for all Residents who have not tested positive for Covid thus far. We are glad to report there are no new Covid cases with our Residents and Patients at this time. Unfortunately, one Staff Member test positive this morning. We are also happy to report that seven out of forty-five Covid positive Residents graduated from Covid today! There are also several Residents who are slated to graduate tomorrow; we will let you know those numbers once Residents have been cleared by our Clinical Team.

We are glad to report that there are no new Covid cases with our Residents and Patients at this time. We did have two more Staff cases that were noted yesterday (three in total), but none today. Though Families and Visitors are at liberty to visit loved ones, understand that you visit at your own risk. If you choose to visit, you must ensure that you are properly wearing a mask to cover nose and mouth at all times while in the building, hand hygiene is required, and please don’t forget social distancing. With over forty-four Residents who have tested Covid positive, it would be most advisable to postpone your visit when this event resolves; but you are given the options to make the smartest choice for yourself.
